The Game reserve is located in the far South east of South Sudan, bordering Kidepo valley national park of Uganda. The reserve provides refuge to a number of animal species such as Cheetah, Wild dog, Kudu, Buffalo and Elephants.
The natural coconut plantation along Kidepo River attracts a large number of Elephants.
