Location
Boma National Park was established in 1986 when it was part of Sudan and is located close to the Ethiopian border covering 22,800 square kilometres.
Biodiversity
The park is a home for the white-eared kob (Kobus kob leucotis) the Tiang (Damaliscus korrigum korrigum) and the Mongalla Gazelle (Eudorcas albonotata).
Other large species are African buffalo, African elephant, leopard, giraffe, plains zebra,oryx, hartebeest and cheetah.
