Agriculture is one of the main sectors of the economy of Burundi, which government of Burundi is facilitating through Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock together with development partners. The government is working on improving infrastructure aimed at boosting the sector through construction of roads especially in rural areas to ease transportation of agricultural produce to markets.
