The legal and regulatory framework used by the Private Public Partnership to initiate and implement infrastructure development and service delivery is covered under the following Acts:
- Uganda Constitution,
- Local Government Act 1997,
- Financial and Accounting Regulation,
- Town and Country Planning Act 1964,
- Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets (PPDA) Act 2003, and
- Land Act and
- The various commercial Acts including the companies Act.
