The places targeted by the terrorist include airports and other public places. Equipment and resources to deter terrorists from entering the country are therefore necessary.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Unskilled<\/strong><br \/>\nThere is a considerable shortage of mid-level managers and technicians in the airport sector. There is therefore an urgent need to train staff for acquire the necessary skills to enable them fill the positions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Low passenger numbers<\/strong><br \/>\nUganda has continued to experience the problem of low passenger numbers and yet the list of airline operators is continuously growing. This may result into unhealthy competition.<\/li>\n<li><strong>High operational costs<\/strong><br \/>\nAir transport is very expensive due to the fees charged at the international airports and increasing fuel costs.
