The Oil deposits are estimated to be in excess of 2.5 billion barrels and the area has the potential for discoveries of more oil deposits.\u00a0\u00a0 The proposed oil refinery will be built in the area.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nyabyeya Polish Catholic Church<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The site is of a former camp built in 1942 for Polish World War II refugees who fled Germany due to prosecution. The Camp consisted of 6 small villages and hosted 3,635 Polish. The church was built between 1943 and 1945 and Omukama Sir Tito Gafabua Winyi IV of Bunyoro paid occasional visits to te camp. There is also a cemetery with 60 graves of Polish Nationals who died between 1945 and 1948.After the World War II ended most of the Polish refugees were resettled in England, Canada, Australia.The graveyard and churc are maintained by the Catholic community in Nyabyeya .<\/p>\n<p><strong>Busingiro Tourism Centre<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is situated off the Masindi-Kiryandongo road in Kibanda county,\u00a0located at Busingiro, about 25 Km on the Masindi \u2013 Butiaba Road.. The area is famous for chimpanzee viewing, nature and primate walks and bird watching among others.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/fortuneofafrica.com\/ug\/murchison-falls-national-park\/\" target=\"_blank\">Murchison Falls National Park<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/fortuneofafrica.com\/ug\/murchison-falls\/\" target=\"_blank\">Murchison Falls<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/fortuneofafrica.com\/ug\/budongo-forest-reserve\/\" target=\"_blank\">Budongo Forest<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Other attractions include<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Buliisa Escarpment found in the Western Rift Valley next to Lake Albert.<\/li>\n<li>Butyaba Port is located on Lake Albert.<\/li>\n<li>Butiaba \u2013 It is in Lake Albert where the wreck of Lake steamer SS Coryndon which sunk in the floods of 1962 is located.<\/li>\n<li>Masindi Lagoon is found about 2 Km from Masindi Town.
