Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is the President of Uganda.The President of Uganda is both the head of state and head of government of the Republic of Uganda, and Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Vice President<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Vice-President is second in Uganda\u2019s command chain. The primary responsibility of the Vice President of Uganda is to be ready at a moment\u2019s notice to deputise the President or assume the Presidency if the President is unable to perform his duties.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Prime Minister:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Prime Minister comes third in the command chain. He is coordinator of Government and Head of Cabinet in Parliament.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Cabinet<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Cabinet of Uganda according to the Constitution of Uganda consists of the President, the Vice President and such number of Ministers as may appear to the President to be reasonably necessary for the efficient running of the State.
